FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WKRC) - An Indiana judge recently ruled that tacos are "Mexican-style sandwiches." According to WANE, Judge Craig Bobay ruled that "tacos and burritos are Mexican-style sandwiches," ending a years-long battle between a restauranteur and the Allen County Plan Commission in Fort Wayne, Indiana. SCASD approves building new Park Forest Middle School

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Centre County is getting a new school. On Monday night, the State College Area School District school board approved a site for the new Park Forest Middle School. The district was faced with multiple options. They say renovating the current school along Valley Vista Drive would have been extensive work. Smokestack demolished at site of former Washington Co. power plant

Washington County, PA (WPXI) — An old Pennsylvania smokestack came crashing down on Tuesday. The 425-foot smokestack imploded at the former location of the Elrama power plant in Washington County. The plant, which was built in the 1950s next to the Monongahela River, was decommissioned in 2012 and imploded earlier this year. Demolition crews used 55 pounds of explosives to bring down the stack, sending debris and dust high into the air. Read More...
