SAN FRANCISCO (TND) — Adam Nathan, board chair for The Salvation Army San Francisco, criticized the city’s managed alcohol program last week for distributing drinks to people addicted to alcohol. 'Tunnel Five Fire' tears through hundreds of acres in Washington, evacuations ordered

UNDERWOOD, Wash. (KATU) — A fast-moving wildfire burning in Skamania County, Washington has forced "Level 3" evacuations for everyone living within a two-mile radius of the blaze, state fire officials said. The Tunnel Five Fire tore through an estimated 540 acres as of Monday afternoon. Officials said at least 10 homes have been destroyed and 250 remain threatened. Area race track hosting national competition this weekend

SEWARD, Pa (WJAC) — Pleasure Valley Raceway in Seward, Indiana County, is hosting the Jeremiah Jones Summer ATV National Championship this weekend. Jones was an up and coming professional quad racer when an accident on a track severed his spinal cord and paralyzed him from the waist down. Participants were out practicing Friday ahead of Saturday’s races. The amateurs will race four laps and the professionals will race for 20 minutes plus one lap. Read More...
