SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — A New Mexico judge is considering Alec Baldwin's request to dismiss a grand jury indictment against him at a scheduled court hearing Friday.
The indictment in January charged Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Oct. 21, 2021, at a movie ranch on the outskirts of Santa Fe.
Baldwin, a lead actor and co-producer on the Western "Rust," has pleaded not guilty to the charge and his attorneys have urged dismissal. Read More...
SCOTT TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Five women from Broome County, New York, from same family were killed after getting hit by a tractor-trailer when they exited their vehicles following a crash on I-81 in Lackawanna County.
Officials said the crash happened Tuesday on I-81 North in Scott Township around mile marker 196.6.
At around 5:15 p.m., a 2022 Honda Odyssey traveling north and containing four occupants had lost control and struck the median barrier, and the vehicle was left disabled in the left lane. Read More...
