CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — It was this month last year when health concerns started revolving around COVID-19.
That means, in many cases, those routine appointments, screenings, and surgeries took a back seat.
Dr. Travis Rearick, a family physician with East Hills Primary Care, said as more appointments are delayed and cancelled, more problems could go undetected.
"Some cancers don't quite wait for COVID to be over," he said.

Players will have a chance to tee up golf balls at targets inside the historic venue June 2 through June 5.

Jefferson Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Jefferson County say new charges have been filed against a Punxsutawney man who was arrested last month in the shooting death of his girlfriend.
Investigators say 20-year-old Dakota Greeley appeared in court Monday for a preliminary hearing where authorities say his initial charges were withdrawn.
Police say new charges of criminal homicide and murder were then filed, as well as charges of homicide of an unborn child, two counts of murder of an unborn child and abuse of a corpse. Read More...
