Ebensburg hosts scaled-down version of annual 'Potato Fest'

EBENSBURG, Pa (WJAC) — There was a "Spud Stroll" event Saturday in downtown Ebensburg, meant to carry on the town’s "Potato Fest" tradition on a smaller scale. Organizers say the event was created to continue supporting local businesses without drawing too many people to one place. FAA opens new probe into Boeing's inspections, records

WASHINGTON (TND) — Boeing, the planemaker, is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration after "required inspections" may have not been completed. The FAA confirmed to The National Desk on Monday it opened an investigation into Boeing's 787 Dreamliner planes. Boeing came forward and "informed" the FAA in April that it "may have not completed required inspections to confirm adequate bonding and grounding where the wings join the fuselage on certain 787 Dreamliner airplanes. Former Somerset County 911 coordinator headed to court on child sex crime charges

A former Somerset County 911 coordinator, who is accused of multiple child sex crimes, will answer for his charges in county court. Acting Somerset County District Attorney Molly Metzgar announced Wednesday that all 35 charges against 30-year-old Bradley Lavan have been bound over for court.
