LAKE CITY, S.C. (WPDE) — Larry Morganti is a Florence resident and artist whose work is displayed at a vendor shop in Lake City called "The Vault." He was the crew chief on a C-123 cargo plane during the Vietnam War as part of the 311th Squadron of the Air Force from October 1967 to October 1968. Lauren Boebert blasts Denver migrant hosting hotline: 'Asinine and ridiculous'

DENVER (TND) — Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., on Tuesday blasted a new solution to Denver’s migrant crisis, saying it tarnishes the United States’ reputation on the world stage. The city has aided more than 40,000 migrants in the past 16 months, Mayor Mike Johnston wrote in an April press release. The number of individuals it has taken in is the most per capita of any city in the nation. In its latest attempt to curb the crisis, the non-profit Hope Has No Borders has organized a hotline for city residents with “room to spare” to sign up to host migrants. Read More...
