Somerset County, PA — Robert Miller Jr. has retired after 45 years of service to the Children's Aid Home Programs and the Children's Aid Society foundation in Somerset.
Organizers say miller spent most of his life helping make sure children in the laurel highlands were cared for and had access to the necessary services to be successful.

Cars filled the parking lot of the Summit Diner in Somerset Saturday morning as customers flowed in and out of the dining room.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A woman who received a pig kidney transplant is back on dialysis just 47 days later after surgeons removed the gradually failing organ.
Lisa Pisano was the second person to receive a kidney from a gene-edited pig, and NYU Langone Health announced that she is stable after an operation to remove the organ earlier this week.
