Plans for outdoor performing arts venue at Bellefonte's Talleyrand Park moving forward

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Plans for a new outdoor performing arts venue in Centre County are moving ahead with fundraising being a top priority. The Stage at Talleyrand Project was unveiled a few months ago, with plans for it to be built in Bellefonte’s Talleyrand Park Annex. Developers say it’s designed to be a state of the art, multi-purpose facility for concerts, shows and other events. The project has gotten off to a good start, receiving a huge boost from the state through a million-dollar grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development, as fundraising efforts continue. DAVIDSVILLE -- The Conemaugh Township Indians found themselves up 13-0 over Blacklick Valley in the fourth quarter of Friday's WestPAC showdown before adversity struck. Blacklick Valley put together back-to-back scoring drives to take a 14-13 lead. The Indians subsequently responded with the game's final 10 points in a 23-14 victory.
