Pennsylvania's unemployment rate hits record low, matching national average

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry released a statement saying that the state’s unemployment rate declined to 3.5% in July, the lowest rate on record. The rate dropped 0.8% compared to July of last year when it was at 4.3%. The state’s civilian labor force – the estimated number of residents working or looking for work – was down 9,000 over the past month. PSP ask for help locating endangered person

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — Police are searching for 33-year-old Jessica Brenizer, who officials say went missing on July 16, 2023 from Grantville, Pennsylvania. Brenizer was last seen near the intersection of Congress Hill Road and State Route 879, also called Shawville Frenchville Highway in Girard Township, Clearfield County. She is around 5 feet 4 inches tall, weights 214 pounds, and has blonde hair and green eyes. Brenizer was last seen wearing shorts, a purple sweatshirt tied around her waist, and a white tank top.
