TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The Satanic Temple (TST) announced its plans to have ministers in public schools across Oklahoma after the state House passed Senate Bill 36. The measure would allow volunteer chaplains in public schools. However, there are some strings attached. Districts must conduct background checks, and cannot employ a chaplain who is a registered sex offender or convicted of a felony offense. Altoona Driver License Center will close for renovations

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — The Altoona Driver License Center will be closing for renovations this Saturday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. PennDOT said in a release the center will be closed starting Jan. 12 at 4:15 p.m. and will reopen for both photo services and driver licensing services Feb. 6. Fire under I-95 in Philly causes section to collapse, closing interstate in both direction

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A large vehicle fire under an elevated section of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia caused a huge portion of the interstate to collapse, closing the highway in both directions, authorities said. Video from the scene showed a massive slab covering an entire section of the northbound lanes collapsed onto the surface roadway in northeast Philadelphia.
