Lincoln Caverns restarts tours, with a few changes

HUNTINGDON CO, Pa (WJAC) — Lincoln Caverns in Huntingdon County is set to reopen again. Owners say the caverns lost a lot of business during the mandated closures caused by the spread of COVID-19. Now, they're offering cave tours, while still following the current social distancing guidelines. Masks are required, and will be provided, along with gloves. Local leaders making progress on Roxbury hockey rink project

JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — Johnstown leaders are making progress on a new hockey rink at Roxbury Park. The leaders behind the Roxbury Park hockey rink project say the asphalt has been applied and they are now awaiting some ADA compliance work to be done. They hope to get the lines drawn and open up the rink for play in the coming days. The committee says additional improvements and enhancements will come later, including a scoreboard. Read More...

Philipsburg woman charged in man's fatal overdose

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Centre County say a Philipsburg woman is behind bars for her role in the fatal overdose of a 26-year-old man earlier this year. Police say on April 10th, officers were dispatched to a residence along the 100 block of Flint Court, in Spring Township, for a reported overdose. Investigators say the victim was found in a bedroom, and Narcan was provided, but first responders were unsuccessful in reviving the man. Read More...
