Teen actor and Hallmark star Mamie Laverock, known for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan in the series “When Calls the Heart,” is on life support after falling five stories from a balcony, according to aGoFundMe page organized by her family.
According to the GoFundMe campaign, after spending two weeks in “intensive treatment” in the hospital due to a “medical emergency” that had happened earlier in May, Laverock “was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories,” per the fundraiser page, which was set up by her parents, Rob and Nicole Compton. Harrisburg, PA — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission announced on Wednesday that they have certified a new state record catfish. The PFBC says that 34-year-old Jonathan Pierce of Philadelphia was fishing from the bank of the Schuylkill River at East Falls on May 24, 2020, when he reeled in a massive 56-pound, 3 oz. flathead catfish.
