STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – For the 30th anniversary of Nike's "Just Do It" campaign, the company added a new face to its ads, which has sparked controversy on social media. The ads features former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who's known for kneeling during the playing of the national anthem. Localized flooding causing road closures throughout the area

Emergency officials throughout our area have received numerous calls for flooded roadways as heavy rainfall continues to fall. Multiple rounds of heavy rain have moved through the area over the past few days. Most of the region has picked up over 2.5 inches of rain in just the past day, prompting flood watches, warnings, and advisories. The steadiest rain will taper off later in the day on Wednesday with just a few lingering showers throughout the rest of the week. Read More...

Sandy Township supervisor starting petition to move forward on DuBois consolidation

Sandy Township, PA — In a 4-1 vote, the Sandy Township supervisors voted against consolidating with the city of DuBois. "As a resident of Sandy Township, I took that as a slap in the face to be honest with you.
