Commencement speaker gives each graduate $1K, but there's a catch

AMHERST, Mass. (WKRC) - Each graduate at this college received a gift of $1,000 from their commencement speaker. But he asked them to do something with the money. Robert Hale Jr. was the commencement speaker at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's 2024 ceremony. He gifted the roughly 1,200 new graduates some extra cash. Hale is the founder and CEO of Granite Telecommunications. For second time in 4 months, 2 men charged in drug raid at same house

JOHNSTOWN – For the second time in four months, two men have been arrested on drug charges after law enforcement officials raided a home at 165 Croyle Street. Anthony Sassano, regional director of the state Attorney General's Office Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, said Perry Black, 45, and Dijuan Johnson, 21, are in jail after being charged early Tuesday morning.
