CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Thousands of personal protective equipment items were given out Thursday afternoon at Conemaugh East Hills.
The recipients: 41 local EMS providers and fire departments in six counties throughout the Southern Alleghenies.
Storm Nagle, Prehospital Manager at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, said the EMS agencies were allotted a certain quantity of supplies based on their specific needs.

The two-day Rotary Tournament is being hosted for the 63rd year at Windber Area High School, wrapping up Thursday night.
Windber's Head Varsity and JV Basketball Coach Steve Slatcoff says it's become a basketball tradition in the area.

Warren County, PA — Authorities in both Pennsylvania and New York are searching for a homicide suspect who reportedly escaped from the Warren County jail Thursday night.
Police say 34-year-old Michael Burham is accused of killing Kayla Hodgkin, in Jamestown, New York, in early May.
According to reports, Burham is also accused of kidnapping a Pennsylvania couple while he was on the run from authorities. Following a large manhunt, Burham was reportedly arrested in South Carolina and was extradited back to New York. Read More...
